no more pice yet, looks like it will be a 1.8 cvh sierra engine swap as i have 3 of these, one with a clutch thats only done 20 miles before the belt snapped, will get some more pics up this week when the snow goes away

Never been a fan of the 1.8 CVH, having had ro rebuild so many of the frigging things after 60-80 thousand miles.
All the ones I've seen ate thier big end and main bearings after silly mileage. I guess they just weren't built to be a 1.8, so they curse word out quicker as a result

i know what you mean daveyboy but ive got several of these engines lying around one with a clutch thats only done 30 miles before the belt snapped, i bought the car as a stop gap to use this summer not spen all summer trying to fit something complicated into it,like i done last year anyway here are a couple more pics two of the car one of the modified sump and one with a dummy block and box in the bay     scottie |

after waiting for over a week for the prop to be done,finally got it on friday,fitted it on sat morning phoned up flux and away i went, 200 yds to the end of the road and ran out of petrol gassed up then went for a run with no probs so far    scottie |

thats what happens when you keep that much junk,,,i mean stock lying around that anytime i need anything , ive got it somewhere, still not really finished though, i just flung the carpet over the big whole i had to cut out in the tunnel,,,,lol

it did come with the original 1703cc engine and column change, its now got a sierra 1.8cvh and 5 speed box
