Quality motor, good work for buying it. It was another retro-rides, "somebodies got too" case... The stance is spot on, this is the sort of ride everybody should have at one time or another, the three box Acclaim shape rocks with this treatment. And a turbo? Nice one ;D

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum

Cor.....I haven't seen an Acclaim in ages, I remember seeing them all the time at one point...
And I've NEVER seen one that looks as cool as that!

Definately some words of wisdom from MadMaxx there... very cool piece of BL-J-Tin there mate, looking forward to seeing this Turbo conversion. I trust you'll be giving it a blast down the Pod at RCS this year?

I really like Acclaims, I did my apprenteship at a Rover dealer from when I left school in 1988, and the Acclaim and it's successer the Rover 213 were definately the best BL/Ausin Rover/Rover Group or whatever they were then. Even as standard the twin carb Acclaim goes like stink, and being so light they wheelspin like hell!! ;D

Hmm, diamond cut alloys with black inserts, chromed bumpers, chrome bullet wing mounted mirrors (J style) and black and chrome plates. Oh, and lose the side repeaters, and it'd be there . Nice car Maybe a nice rubber boot spoiler too ;D
