Here's my recently aquired Vauxhall Victor Estate... The previous owner has done a lot to the car including: 2.3 Engine and Box from a 72' Victor Front Clip from 72' Victor including a complete recon of brake assembly Lowered 6" with custom AVO shocks and 40% stiffer springs pressurised cooling system including rad from a Calibra Dynamo converted to Alternator. The car is in great shape - with only a little cosmetic work to be done before its perfect! Its going to make a real nice 60's wagon!

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!
As for mods... I'm really happy as it is, but I'd like to sort out the little bits and pieces on the body - and maybe some wheels, but I just intend to drive it to as many shows as possible this summer...
Would love a V8 and a slushbox for it too!!
AlistairK - I'll be in touch... you seem to be the guy in the know for these things!
Thanks again guys!

Here's an update on the Victor Estate... I've been doing odd jobs every weekend while the weather's been good. So far its only been little bits and pieces - I've welded up the holes left by the stock wing mirrors Welded up the rear drivers side corner where it was getting crusty raised the rear suspension a little with some custom aluminium blocks mounted to the lower spring mount. It was causing me some troubles getting around the beautifully maintained roads of Nottingham, and besides, it was also riding on the bumpstops - which wasn't too comfortable either... Anyway, here's how it looked when I got it... and now... before... after... before... after... and a couple more... A little bit more welding, and an MOT, and we might be looking at paint and wheels soon!
