lovely car, i was chatting to your mate (Nigel?) on msn who said he was going to get you to register. The car must weigh a fair bit to need that much power to get a 10! what made you want to do all that to a 924?

The car must weigh a fair bit to need that much power to get a 10! what made you want to do all that to a 924? hi mate it doesnt need that power to get in to the tens the motor at this spec could easy run nines but it has a manual gearbox and 225 rear tyers so grip is a big issue with the old rover 4.8 the car would break traction in forth at over 100 mph on the strip I'm not a fan of big pro street rear tyers if i went this route it would make nines for sure i think the 924 is ahead of its time shape wise so its a good solid base car to mess with i suppose i just got carried away ;D jay

Nice work. Bet you don't get many digs about the 'LT van' engine anymore.
I was reading this the other day - weird. ...originally built with a scrap UVA converted 924 kit and a crashed TR8... or is the Stella kicking in?
Scanning through old mags I often wonder where they end up. Guess some of them just get better.

Theres a sexy black one in a 90's street machine with pop off rear wings and covered up lights. wonder if thats still about and any one has a scan... not seen that one would be very interested if anyone doe have a pic i was on the cover of streetmachine in december 2000 jay Finally found it in with my MBUK mags Street Machine Feb 1993 Caddy 500ci (8.2l) , pop off rear wings and rear valence for access to massive tyres. and load 90's pink, Excellent Street Machine mag glyn barney (caveman A3 scanner)

well just finished on a superflow engine dyno heres the results
671.9 bhp@6300rpm
602 trq@5400rpm
running 17.9 psi of boost
these numbers were without water and meth injection hooked up so i will be over 700hp because intake temps were a little high
with a pulley change will easy make 900hp jay
