	It is isn't it. Nice to see thought and effort (as well as skill) being put into a chop rather than 3 inches being merrily hacked off and the pillars given the old persuading device! What made you choose a Merc V8 for the Herald and what are you aiming at with the finished car (style and usage)?

	Hi thank for your comments proper chop are the best way for producing grey hairs but what results ;D.we took 4 inches out of the roof,the Minx it also has Rover V8 engine fitted. Why the merc engine its V8 has over 300 bhp and made of aluminum.

	What are you doing with the back end.... 300+ bhp & swing-axles could be... er... entertaining! And as for the Minx.... That's just stupenously cool. I love the way the 'chop is in progress with most of the interior still intact. Heroic!

Good point we took all the running gear out of the Donner car a "5ltr lorinser sl". its all in and looking fine. just need a half witt to drive it when its finished......Gess thats me then.
