It's a 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle convertible, 350ci with a 3 speed auto. Cheers muppetgti - I kind of recognised the chevy small block & thought the front looked a bit like an El Camino of the same vintage - but basically didn't have a clue!

Lovely car - that will be nice during the fine summer days. Um at the risk of sounding stupid - I know its an American car - but what is it? *EDIT* Oops sorry I did not see the second page of this thread - see what it is now.

Just realised,.. this is the soft top version of Melba Toast ... [anorak] Melba toast was a '70 and mine's a 72, Dead easy to convert though just need the lights, grille, front corner panels and rear bumper.[anorak off]

Progress? Well yes and no. I have a nice new edelbrock carb, all the windows go up and down and a good rustfree bootlid fitted. I also have a pair of good bumpers, N/S front wing, wheel arch trims and few other odds and ends ready to fit, but i'm just too lazy at the mo. I should really make an effort to get it MOTed too. Anywho, I was having a muck out of my camera ready for the weekend and found these so I thought i'd chuck 'em on here for your delictation/ridicule. Taken at the ECA Auction in January. And a couple from March/april(ish). You'd never guess I haven't washed it since July last year. ;D ^^ Simpsons sky innit? Thank you for your time.
