Following my newbie thread in General, here are some pics and specs of my car - hope you like them! I will update the photos when I get access to a real camera! Its basically a 1996 (hope thats not too new!) Rover Mini-Cooper Spi, with: - Stage III head - Swiftune SW5i cam - 3.44 diff - Safety Devices cage and Willans Harnesses - Works style arches - De-striped. Comments please!!

Very subtle. I like it. Without being able to see the numberplate it could have rolled out anywhere between about 1970 and 1999. This is a good thing. I like it alot.

Cheers for the replies people!! Nick B - its a 1996 'N' on a private 'B' plate so does confuse some people! Ministrone - Its got hyrdrolastic rear bump stops on the rear which helps, although I've just had it set-up and I think its a bit low as it scraped earlier :S Tonycocacola - Don't worry - I like Imps too All - the lamps have only just been fixed, so I did without them well enough Lewis K78 - Adrian Fluz for me... no problem with the cage! GJM - Polished? They're just very clean Thanks all for your kind comments. Would it be good enough for the club stand at RCS...?

Nice Mini! I like the Gp2 arches, I have them fitted to mine but am having difficulty fitting the chrome trim. I like the colour coded cage, very subtle. I bet its pretty swift off the mark with the 3.44 diff, aren`t they 2.95 as standard for that year? Are you running hi-los? Ministrone, I've got turned trumpets on the rear (0.5 inches shorter) and have got it as low as it will go whilst still being driveable (~1 inch from the arch), scrubs a little of very heavy cornering. Have you got newish cones on the rear?

Have you got newish cones on the rear? Nah! the cones are original 1974 leyland. I am using Hi-Los and ive just fitted Neg camber brackets. Ive got it set as low as I can go without the wheels catching too often when loaded. Ive got a few changes on the cards for RCS so i'll have another tinker. Maybe I should just loose some weight?? SupaMiniCupa - Thanks for the bumpstop idea

Oooh nice Min! A proper one too. Not one of them German things ;D . Definitely not too new - Real Mini's are age-less. Good work! Would it be good enough for the club stand at RCS...? Have you seen my Mazda?! You'd certainly be welcome! We don't do snobbery on this 'ere forum!

Lovely!! I always wanted those arches on my old Mini but never got round to it!
Only thing I'd change is the mirrors, for some lovely old-spec chrome ones!

Minion - Aye I'm well chuffed with the 3.44 - goes through the revs nicely! Think the speedo is out though :/ ...Yep Hi-los (or similar!) or there too Darren - Hmmmmm Downton mirrors may have to be on the shopping list soon Everyone - Thanks again for the comments - I'm glad you like. Might have to sort myself a ticket with RCS then!!
