i feel so sorry for this car. its almost exactly how i want mine to look aprat from the colour.
such a shame that it didnt go to an enthusiast, if i had been on here when it was up for sale id have snapped it up no question!

Even enthusiasts scrap cars though. Knowing your limits is very difficult when enthusiasm is involved. I've probably scrapped/ruined/wrecked/broken/left to rust while I waited for skills/talent/time/money more cars than I should've in my time. I'd also like to think I've saved more via my influence though...the market/desire for S110Rs and Cressidas is almost entirely down to me you know! ;D ;D   |

this chevette is probably the coolest look car on the site, i'm loving those back windows, and the roofrack..i'd love to own something so cool and yet so smart as this.
i had another look, it's definitely the coolest car on here.

as this car got scrapped... it is a shame but.......
my bruvs "gitfarm" was saved from the scrappy so maybe thats a sort of car karma..?

WOW! i still can't believe how many fans this car has!
All the cars Ive built/Modified and all the money I have spent this one get the most attention!!!
TBH its my favorite as well. It never broke, you could park it anywhere, it was practical, turned heads and was cheap to run!
I wished i could have kept it and done the welding, but at the time i was at uni and broke. I probably should have sold the red one instead!

WOW! I still can't believe how many fans this car has! Believe it! I remember back a few year back when I first saw a feature on retro rides in Performance VW mag, and the chevette was used in the mag. I liked it from the second I saw it, lush ;D |

i would de bage it but the letters are pinned into body so if i took them off it would leave a load of holes. my red one is de badged at the back. maybe remove the chevette badge, put a bit of filler in the holes and put some sort of sticker over it like on the other side of the boot lid? also remove the vauxhall letters between the rear lights and spray that rear section matte black? |
