Outstanding work and commitment to de-rusting! I love this car; it reminds me of summer and shows! I think that’s because it was the first car I saw when I met up with everyone for retro cars show 05!

Thanks for the comments guys, Really spurs me on.
Ahh it should be ready for the RR show, if not I will be driving it as it is LOL. The santapod show it may be in a state but it should be there, as I have my weekend tickets.
mrstigma, the same goes for all your cars too fella, hopefully we will be doing it again.
JP, yes I shall be spraying it myself wither that or my father will. 3rd time lucky on the paint end as the last 2 suffered from too much air, but with a new Gun with better feed adjustments it should come up a treat.

Starting to feel a trend coming on. Basically stepping on the gas a bit now, so started the next panel. This is the lower section behind the drivers door, and is the most sold MGB part as it is always hit with the road curse word. I knew the steel was "well a bit thin" lol, did that hole with my little finger. Someone has just stuck the welding torch in and pressed the trigger, its fill of weld in the arch section. Pics to follow of the new section in place.

Right today has been more productive than I thought it would be. First job was to grind down the seam on the new panel ready for filling. Filler layer 1 Applied. MGB's come with chrome side strips which I hate and they usually cause a 'USED MG' to rust where the rivets are, where this stip goes there is a ridge so as the strip was not going on this needed to be filled and rubbed back. Rear seem filled, also the bead line on the back of the wing needs to be filled and rebuilt, which is going really well. Rear light Section being stoppered. Finally the job I was really regretting was the door skin, re-fit. The old skin was totally shagged, so a cheap e-bay purchase saw a NOS door skin arrive, this went really well. (Thanks to the poeple who gave advice in the general board thread). Door skin on and ready for rubbing down. So tomorrow I will be rubbing back the filler and making sure its perfect, then begin the door. As it looks its going quite well, if I manage to get the whole car rubbed back tomorrow then we are going to try and spray it next weekend. This is excellent if, so as it means it will be at the retro-show in proper paint. Fancy paint bits will come for the RETRO-RIDES-SHOW.

Well cinders shall go to the ball but she wont look pretty, Pics to follow.
Spent all of last weekend in the garage putting it back together, as it was far too damp to spray it, plus there was some areas of the body I was not happy with at all.

Great progress there. I've almost finished painting mine. Then I need to put the interior back in, as well as the glass.

UPDATE!!!!!
Well after the excellent invite at the RS @ Pod, I was thinking about leaving it the way it was, But because I am at serial Waxer, I need something to buff (no pun intended) so as of last weekend she has been rubbed back ready for paint. I shall be re-spraying her this coming weekend, managed to blag a Spray booth and baking oven for the weekend, on the proviso that I re-spray my Missus uncles Corsiar. BARGINOUS!!!!!!
I also fitted an Item, which I have wanted for ages, but you will have to wait and see for that one. No its not a V8 or anything to make it go faster.
Some Pictures to come

OOOPPS Forgot to post the pictures.
Well its been all go here, the MG is sprayed but I am not happy at all with it. Me and the fatherman spent last weekend prepping and putting on the barcoat and under coat, which went on excellent.
However we both got called away so the car had to stay in its remote secure location, which is fine as the undercoat needed 4 hours to air dry (baking room was fully booked).
So we decided to come back on sunday to put the top coat on. Well it all started ok, 1ltr of paint on the car, no runs and Smooth as a babies backside, at this point I was well chuffed, so we left the car to dry a while before putting to last coat on, this would mean opening another tin of NEW PAINT <---- Remember that.
I come to open the tin after giving it a shake and all looks fine, so we begin the mixing, put it in the gun and start spraying. After about a min we see lumps on the body (AGGGGGHHHHHHHHH) seems as though this paint was not fully sealed, nothing we can do so we remove the paint from the gun, clean it out and siv the paint back. At this point I find massive chunks of dried untreated 2k (not happy).
But with the temperature dropping we need to get this coat on, so its a rush job. The outcome is not great but with a little 1500 glass paper most of the overspray, roughness will come out. Its going to take some hard work to get smooth but I will do it. However it will be at RRS in its current state as I don't have time friday to put her back together and glass her down, I will try some compound though to try and smooth things off.
