Where, according to Max Power magazine some years back "sad old gits go to buy bits of rusty metal in the rain". Does it get any better than this? A wind-swept airfield in the middle of nowhere £6 to get in and be poisined by deathburgers, dishwater weak coffee and watch travellers try sell houshold goods, bulk packs of toilet roll, etc. and gosh, maybe even some stalls selling car parts.
Usually a decent classic car show on the field too.
Dates are:
Sunday 14th October
Sunday 18th November
Sunday 16th December
Dress warm.

erm Dates are: Sunday 14th October Sunday 18th November Sunday 16th December The Royal SHowground, just outside Newark, signposted pretty well in all directions. Public gates open about 10 am, trade about 7 or 8 am and classics can get in the showground entrance anytime after about 9am or (;30 or whenever the heck they feel like letting us in. They also have their own defintion of classic as "Pre-1980" and they do turn people away and make you go to the puplic car park. unless they is their mates or whatever.
