NOW SOLD
I bought this a couple of years ago but ended up going for a zetec turbo conversion instead of using the xflow.
I don't think it's ever been used. No idea about origin, but the turbo is the same as was supplied with the Pace turbo kit for the xflow.
What you get:
Custom tubular exhaust manifold (badly) painted red. Paintwork has suffered from it being kicked around the garage and thrown in the spares
box, but it is otherwise sound and rust free. Might be stainless as it's showing no signs of corrosion.
IHI RHB5 turbo. Never used judging by immaculate turbine blades and spotless exhaust housing. Has a little surface rust, but otherwise in excellent condition. Less that 1mm side-side play and zero in-out play in
the bearing as you would expect from a new turbo.
Internal wastegate and actuator. One side of actuator dinged very slightly - doesn't affect operation at all. Standard 6psi setting (or so I was told).
Actuator moves fine when tested with bike pump.
Turbo elbow - Custom steel 80 degree elbow from turbo outlet flange to downpipe. Again, badly painted red but in otherwise good, rust-free
condition.
Intercooler - This is second hand (and looks it), but works fine without leaks. Originally from a Rover Tomcat Turbo, it's fairly compact but twice
as thick as most intercoolers - ideal for an installation where space is tight. No pic at present but I'll take one next time I'm in the garage if anyone
wants me to.
Oil feed hose - from a jelly mould cossie. 1/4NPT ends(?), one at 90deg. Does not fit turbo oil feed (which I THINK is 10mm fine pitch), but I was going to
use an adaptor from Think Auto - they're about £5. No pic of this either.
£150 plus post (probably £15 judging from weight, but will refund difference if less).
(For those worried that this is my first post, I am well known on locostbuilders.co.uk under the username djtom. You can read about the
trials and tribulations of my zetec turbo conversion there too!)
