ill keep it short. looking for £400 good points: 56k miles longish tax (april time I think) alarm immobiliser (paid £700) engine is still going well. just been to germany and back with no problems (except gearbox, see below) bad points: needs new exhaust gearbox is a little smokey. reckon its a leaky seal which is dripping oil onto the exhaust. leaking seems to have stopped but worth looking at generally tatty. scrapes and dings etc sunroof doesnt work drivers side high beam is intermittant. probably a loose wire heater doesnt work to get it roadworthy again all it needs is a new exhaust. I was using it as my daily untill the right hand backbox fell off. I think it needs a new backbox and y section. if anyone wants more pictures let me know. or just view it would be better!

I'm hoping the cheap price will persuade someone to use it as a resto project but knowing my luck its more likely to be used for spares.
id much prefer it went to someone on here

ta daa! etc the piping on the drivers side. the passenger side is fine slight wear (cigarette?) mark in the middle of the drivers seat just remembered the cassette player doesnt work. the radio still works though the rear "seats" you could fit 3 people in the car if you move the passenger seat forward but i wouldnt put someone behind the driver since it ends up with a cramped driving position.

Having seen this car from most angles (including underneath!) I can say that it much better than Luke makes out!

Having seen this car from most angles (including underneath!) I can say that it much better than Luke makes out! it always fills me with confidence when someone with more knowledge than me points out that its not as bad as i think! its been a good car generally. its got its problems but its always got me where i need to go. and pretty quick too (by my standards anyway).
