ok so I was going to mot this and list it on the bay.. but......
I don't think I will ever get round to it
so it for sale at a bargain price or swap with or without cash for anything?? maybe a bike ??
ive had a good look around it and it seams ok for mot..
the only thing I think it needs is the horn working..(it has 2 horns and one has a connection corroded off so a simple replace, or just wire it to one!)
because it has been stood the fuelpump didnt work so I replaced it for a S/H one and ive been driving it about my workshop for weeks with no problem but now the fuelpump has packed up again!! ive always had this luck with second hand pumps... every time.. sooo
it needs a new pump.. 45 quid from the bay of E..
some tyres are going down slowly like they need pumping up every week or so but I think its just leaking from the beed so just need a reseat. 2 tyres are very good 2 are ok (ie they are above 4mm or so deffo)
it has no spare wheel
the wings are good (really good which is rare!)
and rust wise there is a little rust staining on the inner edge of the rear arches. not bubbles just the edge where it returns.
the front bumper has bubbles on the corners under the chrome.
oh...
and the heater fan is curse word (siezed) ive tryed to get it working again but its shot so will need replacing (easy job ive been told its the same as the e30 but havent tryed. a few clips on the front scuttle and its removed no dash removing business... 5 min job max!)
like I say I should do it really as they are making 1200 to 1500 no probs at the moment on the bay but I really have no time!!
more about the car..
it has done just under 100,000 IIRC, it is the last of the low roofline models so not the nasty highline, but has all the best bits accociated with the hightline (ie latter injection better rear suspension better electrics etc..)
it has black leather sports interior (ricaro not the std leather)
is switchable auto.. (ive had manual before and TBH the auto is very good!!)
