Hey mate. Just wondering it perhaps it would be a better idea to get around that problem using independant throttle bodies or perhaps bike carbs? Toyota 4age 20 valve silvertop throttle bodies Bike Carbs (Yamaha R1) img.photobucket.com/albums/v405/jacktopi/kadett4.jpgOr heres another option extending the booster and using DCOE type carbs. Looks like this guy did what you are looking at doing. i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa36/bones73_2007/HPIM5287.jpgPM me if you want more info on some of the setups, or you could contact them yourself as they all use chevettes.com.

Thanks for the reply. I actually looked into using bike carbs, as I already have a fully jetted stack of carbs & almost all the bits needed for Mega Jolt, but I realised that even with the bike carbs I would have to relocate the master cylinder and servo unit. You see my engine sits quite a bit lower than those Chevette setups and it would mean that the manifold would have to sweep quite steeply upwards in order to fit the carbs in (kind of like the 2nd manifold). Also there is the cost, hopefully I can find a brake box significantly cheaper than a custom bike carb manifold. Cheers, Christian
