Criteria....
60s-70s, RWD, comfy, decent performance, decent parts availability.
Any of the criteria can be bypassed for something cool enough. EG BL Princess is not RWD but I'd have one...
OK, now we got the rules sorted...
Some examples are...
Triumph 2000/2500 Mk3/Mk4 Cortina Hillman Hunter & clones C130 Laurel, 710 Talbot Tagora FD/FE Victor A60 Cambridge & clones Princess etc
Who's got something?
Must have MOT and be ready to go.
I'm in Notts.

S reg Rover 2600 in brown of any interest? I'll see if it's still there tomorrow (saw it yesterday when I took a different route home...).

mmmmmmm, if it were a V8 I'd be all over it. A mate has an SD1 V8 series 1 I could probably snag off him cheapo, but its a bit rotten and not been on the road for ages. I think he might have sold the motor out of it now.
Do you know how much?

No idea of the price - it's just sat on a driveway about a mile away with a 'for sale - enquire within' note on the rear screen, an d I was in a hurry so didn't stop. Nice poverty spec on steels with plastic hubcaps, but it's wearing a series 2 tailgate. I'll go that way to work tomorrow and find out more...

please can I have some pics of this Rover? If its possible of course. I'm currently suffering a mild lust for a proper povo spec SD1.

'Tis sold - apparently the sign went in the window on Thursday and the buyer viewed it Friday and turned up with the cash yesterday. Details are a little vague, but it was a manual, T&T until November, current owner since '92(!), and bodily restored in 2001. The selling price? A measly £650, knocked down from an asking price of £795...

I've got an '86 BMW M535i going? I know its a bit later than what you wanted, but its got T&T, is dead reliable, quick and ready to go.
I'll take offers in the region of £800.

Ministrone, I think thats going to be too expensive for me.
I think I'm looking at something suitably cool tonight.
MrsK dislikes BMWs - a lot.
