Aaaaaaarrrgghhhh...
I tried to find the site to get more info, no luck yet.
I work in the area, was looking at campers a while back.
This would be different once on the road.

I had one of those last year. It was a coachbuilt version rather than a pop top though. They drive well for an old van. I've still got a mini-workshop manual that came with mine if whoever bags this one wants it.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Spotted it yesterday in a scrapyard in West Norwood, they'll sell it for £200, gutted, saw the post too late!

Typical. We all sit about sayiong "someone aught to save it" and it gets scrapped. Again I missed this one. Not sure but I might be able to get a camper past SWMBO. Now if that wee a VW he could have sold it all day long. A mate of mine had a HiAce camper a couple of years back. Well cool. The model after thart one I think.

Typical. We all sit about sayiong "someone aught to save it" and it gets scrapped. It's a shame, but most of us are in the same boat - no space, time or money. Or a combination of the three. I shouldn't look at ads like this, cos it's really frustrating and I just torture myself.

Oh dear, hope it doesn't get crushed. Isn't anyone local able to fish it out of the scrappy and sort it out?

It would have had a good 2T engine for a Carina/Celica. Wonder if they had 5 speed box and if it was floor change or column

Apparently it's a runner, can remember about the gear change but the interior was quite nice! The yard is pretty good about keeping interesting vehicles to one side but if no one saves it it'll get crushed inevitably, here it is now:
