It's that time again! ;D
Another batch of J-loveliness has travelled several thousand miles at my request in an effort to quench the thirst of the J-car obsessives on RR.
In the words of the Sisters of Scissor: TA-DAH!:
This lot are all brand new and straight off the shelves of a warehouse somewhere in the suburbs of Tokyo!
We have:
Old Timer Aug'99
I shouldn't really have started with this one as it's probably the least relevant to us lot, but I wanted a bit of 'back issue' action and this is what they came up with. It's an excellent example of the 'normal' side of the Japanese classic car scene, ie. a bit boring! In it's defence it does have loads of pages of very interesting dealer and classified ads. This one is yours for a bargain £10 inc. UK p+p.
[red]SOLD - datsuncherry[/red]K-Style - March 2007
Ka-pow! Pages and pages of modern, but inconceivably cool little K-wagons, most of which have the wickedest ground scraping stance. Of particular interest is a nearly-Boso old school flavour Suzuki Alto . Plus loads of ads/web addresses too to keep you occupied on the 'net! It's £13 including Postyness.
Lightning Vintage Auto 6
This is the latest in the Vintage Auto series (we had the other three in the last batch) and contains loads of sweet 240Zs, an in-depth special on the legendary Peter Brock (not that I can read it! Great pics though ;D), the awesome art section contains a 'Cafe Racer' style Sapporo! To you squire? Fourteen quid delivered.
[red]SOLD - tigran[/red]VIP X 1995-2005
Yep, 10 years of VIP's top feature cars in one special issue! I saw a second hand copy of this on Yahoo and tried my luck by asking for a copy with this order - how happy was I when they had one in stock? Jolly happy, actually . There's 180 pages with almost no ads...it's just cars, cars and mo' cars. Pricey though I'm afraid...£17 and it's on it's way to your place.
[red]SOLD - SpottedLaurel[/red]Car Archive 80s
The follow up to the fabulous 70s version (which I've ordered another of - below), but even better! 274 bristling pages of info on ALL 80s Japanese cars. Flippin' fabulous. £15 including the posties cut.
[red]SOLD - ra28gt[/red]Car Archive 70s
I had to get another of these, because there was more customers than books for the last one! 150 pages of model codes, pictures, and dimensions on every 70s Japanese cars...oh yes. £12 and you're it's new owner.
Pretty cool huh? But wait...there's more!
I got a bit carried away after I asked if they had any back issues of Enjoy! Retro Car and they sent me a list. What heppened next? I bought them all! :
For those not familiar with the legend of E!RC, these are THE modified classic magazines...I'm not exaggerating when I say that these are like a 150 page long *ooof* - at least one (usually more) car on every page takes your breath away...honestly. Hopefully anyone who has seen an issue will testify to that.
I'm selling these for £15 each including postity and packitude, except for issue 14 which has a rip on the (removable) book jacket which you can see in the photo...it was the last one though, so I thought it was still worth getting. There's a quid off because of the rip anyway...£14 including postage.

I can recommend certain issues depending on what you're after though, so if you're thinking of buying - feel free to ask first. If you're after Sunny Wagons, for instance (Darren? ) then you're gonna love issues 21 and/or 23.
I'll try and post some inside pics later...but I welcome requests for particular mags/wants and even random page numbers to test the overall content!
Reply in this thread, or PM with questions and potential purchases. Paypal or cheque works for me...as does collection (obviously you'll save a bit then too).
Cheers.
Simon.
