Its from 1982, 51k miles, A14/4-speed and is obviously the square headlight model. It failed the MoT test, requiring some small welding repairs to the rear of each sill. This is a typical example of a car owned and loved by one, now elderly person from new. Each year recently, its needed a bit of work for the MoT pass and the garage has just thrown more filler and stonechip at it, finishing with an aerosol and probably charging the very grateful owner a small fortune. The rear arches aren't bad though each is showing signs of bubbling. The rh sill has had a welded repair but again, some filler. The stonechip is very rough textured and its not that easy to feel the bubbling but to sort it properly, the car will need sills, front valance repairs, door bottom repairs. A respray would be necessary after the several very small but scattered stonechips have been sorted. Tyres are all good as is the interior and the engine is so smooth. Its near Shrewsbury and I'm open to offers in the region of £500. Can deliver.

That dark blue 1200 is giving me impure thoughts though... A mates dad had one of them years ago. I think it was a 2 door. Did they do a two door? Was that same colour though.

Yes, they did do a 2-door. All the B110s are rare but I think the 2-doors are the rarest of the lot.
The 4-door in the background belongs to wifey. Its got Minilites and a 1400 on a 5-speed box out of a B310 coupe. Needs some tlc and paint.
It has to be done for next spring or I'm meat.

LOL, know that feeling. Luckily wifey now drives the sensible "modern". All I need to do it keep it serviced. I saw a 1200 saloon sitting at the side of the road in Nottingham a few months ago. Can't remember where but in a right rough area. Was covered in leaves or whatnot. I meant to go back and see what the score was with it but I forgot where I;d seen it.

Two doors are rare but the rarest in the UK is probably the estate and the pickup (if it counts as it's not technically a B110). I have a feeling there are only a couple of estates and maybe 4 two doors. Two doors are mega common on the continent (relatively speaking) as they never sold 4 doors there at all. I think there are something like 300 in the Norway club alone.
With regard to the Violet... anyone who buys it off Jon can have the brand new rear door i have for one. I think it's a left hand. I also have a brand new grille and some new headlight mounts for a late one and possibly even some new tail lights. Anyway, whoever buys it can have the lot.

The Violet has a really nice, blue interior. No tears in the seats, carpets good. External chrome is really good too. Its a 'one owner from new' car, (until I bought it), and you can tell that it has been cherished. I had a good looksee yesterday. For the MoT, just needs the sills welding. The rest is cosmetic. The Joncedric fleet is near Shrewsbury, SY4....top of Haughmond Hill. Visitors welcome, coffee/tea/beer/biscuits plentiful. Loads of 70s Japs to see as well as VWs, Beach Buggies and Lotii.

There are a couple. This 180B Bluebird is now available. Was sold but the deal involved a Mercedes estate which got burned out before the deal could be concluded. The Bluebird has a stainless steel exhaust, a low mileage 1.6 engine and now a 5-speed gearbox. No tax or MoT. Very rare. £700 no offers. You won't get many bigger Datsuns than this Cedric. Its a 1973? 260C. MoT until next July, I think. New clutch and again, a 5-speed gearbox. Also fitted with an LPG system which I'm in the process of sorting as it failed over the summer. I replaced a glass sunroof with the Webasto and it has the original steel wheels instead of the Wolfies in the picture. Its in great condition and I'm looking for £1400.

I fear I shall have to be selling one of my yanktanks and heading down your way with a fist full of fivers at some point. The Cedric with LPG seems like just the daily ticket. I don't think my local petrol station does LPG though... Typically... Just need to decide what gives and get it in a saleable order...
