I have dicided to try and sell off some of my stock of engine parts there is loads, mainly mini or ford related so bare with me.
1st off i have a 2L pinto lump that came out of a late model seirra, its a 205 block and athough it is carb'd i would suspect one of its age to be a 'injection spec' engine. It was a good runner when removed from the car (i remeber as i took it up the road to test the gearbox that went in my escort)
Never going to do anything with it so price is £50ono
2ndly i have a 1275 MG midget/sprite crankshaft (inline a-series) It was reground a while go but I'm I'm afrade i cant remeber the exact sizes. Can have a measure if anyones interested.
Not too sure how much its worth but must be getting rare so £50ono again?
3rdly i have a set of 1275 cooper s or MG midget/sprite rods. (They are what you need to build 1430cc mini engines.) One is slightly differant to the others as i only had a set of 3 (hence why i have no block! woops! ) and brought a replacement to make up a set.
Got to be woth £125ono??
Also feel free to make me an offer or show interest on any of this stuff:
1x Innicenti (sp?) 1275 Mini rod (the rare and bullett proof ones that have a little rib half way down the beam)
Several 12G940 1275 heads, one stock unleaded, one lightly ported unleaded, a few others without valves and possibly a MG metro head if someone wants to pay me sensible money for it.
1x Unleaded 998cc mini head (recon)
1x Light mini flywheel, basicly a stock flywheel machined down. Also a lightned cluch pressure plate to go with it
1x 998c/1098cc A+ block with valve pockets for a 1275 head, also have a 1098cc crank and rods for it.
2x 1275 A-series block/cranks and rods
Complete 998cc a-series engine and box (and subframe if you want it!! )
1x 1300cc x-flow
Pair of Rover v8 heads, don't know what they are tbh but i don't think they are anything special
4 Capri lazer alloys need a cot of paint but have been grit blasted so are nice and clean.
You guys have lst refusal. Otherwise most if it will go on Egay
