Everyone have a good weekend? Showing? Cruising? Meeting? Working?
I can finally put up the piccies I've got of Brian Burrow's Porsche powered Squareback as it's made its debut at the Volksworld show (and won best in show),..
Will get on it later,.. hectic day at work.

Not bad as weekends go. didn't do much to the car, but sorted out an anoying crackle/buzz from one of the rear 4" speakers.
It only fastens down (using the factory fixing) with two screws on one side of the speaker, so as it was bouncing arround, it was shorting and crackling.
rather starting to fill the boot with metal swarf, I decided just to wedge it down with a lump of folded cardboard, now it doesn't bounce at all, is still hidden by the carpetting.
Won't affect sound as they just the rear fill set of cheap 4" kickers running off the factory 4 way wiring, on the headunit rear speaker output.

I didn't go to any shows, but I did have fun on ebay! I think I've got the wheels sorted for my Cressida. Just thinking about them makes me ;D ;D ;D ;D.
They won't be on the car for a while...but assuming I have no fitting problems, they should be superb.

Missed the Volksword show due to other comitments. Though I did manage to see some nice veedubs on there way to the show along the A303. I went to my mates place in kilmington and left the missus to go shopping with her friend whilst me and my mate tore out the LPG conversion kit from a Rover 214SLi I just bought for scrap (snapped cam belt with usual results). I've also just been offered for peanuts a Ford 2.9 V6 for the cortina, but it's all the way up in derby!

The Volksworld show was great, but it was flippin' freezing in a tent on Saturday night!
Got some good pics, I'll stick them up once I've processed them all in photoshop. Hopefully that'll be later today...
