Spotted today, obv. a kit car of some sort... There was an SU peeking out of the (rear) engine cover so I'm thinking A-Series/mini based... and I can see marina door handles and triumph bonnet catches as well... ;D

... the only injury I sustained was a bumped head when I let the seatbelt of without realizing the car was upside down and that's not really the car's fault.

Yep, that's a GTM. There's a guy who used to rally one with a Redtop XE mid-mounted, boy could it shift.

Nearly bought one of these a while back . Was put off due to being very noisy when driving due to single '40 very close to rear bulkhead.

Yep GTM or Grand Touring Mini made for quite awhile by various companies, lots of fun and can be quite quick with a well sorted A series but this talk of Red tops and V-tecs makes me want to phone up the health and safety executive

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Apparantley MG/Rover bought one and ripped it to bits so they could see how to use the Metro subframes when producing the MGF.
