After some problems trying to register I'm finally on the forum. Thanks to Hotwire for sorting things out (If it was you). ;D
I Love this forum, some of the cars you guys turn up are great.
I've been looking forward to posting for a while now as I have a Retro project of my own that needs finished.
Heres the lowdown:
A 1970 Triumph Mk2 Estate with a Rover V8 and 5 speed box fitted. Recent paint job (Green) and sound mechanicals.
Since buying it, I have fitted some 7x15 Five spoke revolutions, new front Discs and Chrome bullet mirrors.
jobs to do include:
Fit the shiny new 4 Barrel Holley and Edelbrock inlet, fit a custom stainless exhaust, weld in new boot floor after junking the part finished LPG install and fit the smiths instruments and Lucas "Square 8" lamps (2 spot, 2 fog) I bought a year ago on Ebay (Including a cool Retro In-car Oil level checker). There will probably be some suspension dropping mods to come as she sits a bit high at the front.
No doubt I'll be needing some advice as I'm a bit rusty on the old engine mechanicals side of things (I built an M.E.D 1380 for my old Minivan about 8 years ago) but should cope with the suspension and other stuff.
I trust I can call on you for advice when I get stumped?
Cheers Fellas,
Aran
