Bit pointless as I have no photos but passed a tidy, unrestored Yellow Mk1 Escort Estate 2-door which was being towed through Ipswich with a young lad behind the wheel, Looked like the type that had just been pulled out of his grandad's garage after 20 years.
Is that anyone on here? (and please say it wasn't being towed to get stripped to race round Foxhall stadium for banger racing!)

... the only injury I sustained was a bumped head when I let the seatbelt of without realizing the car was upside down and that's not really the car's fault.

Anyone from on here? Cheered me up - I do like sharing a nod from a fellow retro.. that would prob be my mate (and fellow 123 owner), he's based in glasgow, me too, where you based? p.s. have a local euro-look plumber-mobile-

LOLz back to the 80s. Home made hood scoop bigger than a house and skinny rear wheels. Awesome.

I've had a lot on my mind of late, hence my lack of spottage....hope these make amends. All from the last few days. It's been a long time since I saw a Nova SR looking this tidy. Not really a spot, this tastefully-modded Mini belongs to the daughter of our metallurgist at work. He owns a concours and uber-rare MGA Twin Cam which I hope he'll bring to work again when the weather's better!! Tidy LHD T25 Westie being driven by a (very pretty) lass on the M5. It's an Arkley SS. Popular back in the 70's/80's as a cheap way of turning your rusty Spridget into a proper Bufty-Mobile. Yes, really! I had to pinch myself too! Early Bedford CA still working for a living after over 50 years. Made my day!!!!! Almost 20 years separate these two fine old Volvos. What the photo doesn't show though is the additional couple of dozen 60's/70's Amazons and 140/240-series languishing in the back yard. It's not far from me, I'll revisit it at some point soon. Not what it seems...that's a hybrid, created by cutting and shutting a 110 body onto a 100" Range-Rover chassis. Plenty of passenger space, and no rear overhang to hinder its off-road prowess. used to be a popular method of getting a coiler before 110's got so cheap. Like my cab??? ;D These Maestros are getting scarce now.... Not really Retro yet, but this Hi-Lux Surf looked dead hard. Not Retro at all, but you would, wouldn't ya? I would! Really tidy unmolested Marina Sun-Tor lurking behind a hedge in Coventry. Pre-Iveco, these were badged as Fiats. Progress with 2.5l of non-turbo diesel four-banger (or even a 1995cc petrol engine) lugging a mini-artic like that must be....erm...sedate? Rare, if only for the fact that most of these have dissolved by now. HUY 186X was one of these (only in petrol-powered Luton van format, not artic), and holds the dubious distinction of being the first van I ever drove back in 1985. ;D

On your manor? I'm never off it these days, I spend so much time there I may as well change my hometown to 'Coventry'. That Foden's made me do a sex wee. Is that Mk6 2-stroke smoke I see, or a Gardner haze?
