Plenty of retro spots in Notting Hill today. Mercedes looks like in needs a bit of work. Volvo still earning its keep. Drove by later and engine had a terrible death knock with more than a little smoke out the exhaust. Porsche and VW parked opposite each other. Chevy truck doubling up as a fruit and veg stall.

This might end up with a note on the windscreen But not for Your volksrod project? That's a vw 1302 with mcphreson struts in front, so no beam to place forward.

No photos unfortunately but I'll post this in the hope of jogging someone's mind. I saw a beige chrome bumpered Lada estate in the Heywood, greater Manchester area the other day. Nicely lowered with deep (possibly BBS) alloys. Does it ring any bells with anyone here?

Delivered a pallet of something to a business unit based on a farm near Formby last week, his cars caught my eye. Obviously I knew what the original car was, Z4. He has made everything himself, inside is a part done Z4 coupe. Turns out I was delivering Weller wheels x8, he has designed them, deep dish, Weller made them, centre caps are huge. He is looking to sell them and make more.

Agreed! It made me look more than once at it. It's either a very, very rare production car or (I'm more inclined to believe) a very well done homemade jobbie. Going by the join in the rubbers on that rear side glass (perspex?), I'm going for the latter. Works really well imho.

Not just spotted, driven to. It was old and knackered with terrible brakes but absolutely awesome. The noise and vibration from the engine inside the car was brilliant. Instructor said it averages 4 miles to the gallon on track events. Boot lid signed by all the original cast. Also made me think how hard the stunt drivers must have had work back when filming the show.

Looking at these photos it looks like it was a steady stream of destruction for many Chargers let alone the amount of Police cruisers that must have been wrecked to.
