Did rescue it from getting bangered though. I really like this car, was chatting to the owner's brother. My mum had a '66 Super Minx, so I have a love for these cars (yeah I know this one's a Sceptre) Check old the old couple getting into the estate! the heated rear window

This has rekindled my memories... The woodwork technician at my secondary school (whose room I'd often hang out in and talk cars to in my mid-teens) had something very similar to this as his daily driver, possibly even with slots on. I guess he was in his thirties at the time and so had grown up though the whole custom scene of the seventies and eighties. Where abouts are your spots taken? Quite a few of them seem familiar including that superminx estate.

Here is a UPS van, these are on my never ending want list. And a SJ, not a great shot as I was travelling in the opposite direction. Oh yeah I almost forgot to include this. Earlier that day I caught a glimpse of this car but was unable to get a photo. So when it drove towards me I felt obliged to capture an image.

To celebrate having a working digital camera (I've got through 3 in as many months...) I took it on the walk down to the train station with me, Swedes seem to be the order of the day in Tulse Hill: As well as a slightly forlorn Avenger, there's also an early beige one floating about that I've not managed to track down yet: But this was a bit less tidy still... Not bad for a 15 minute walk.

More spots like this one please, nice sharp picture with witty comment.........great. Spotted this Commer Camper complete with lace curtains You know when a picture says one thing only to you? Curtains drawn presumably to hide criminal crew composed of Alisitair Sim, Peter Sellers, et al, on their way to commit some sort of Ealing Comedy heist, possibly at a level crossing?

Aha, Angle. The return of the "South Circular 2000" Might not be there for much longer, the reason I was out there was to work out whether we can build the people who are about to move into that house a dropped kerb to go with their shiny new driveway...

Dropped kerb you say.........some sort of highways technician are you??? Just curious as I am a Highways Tech in Bexley and part of my job is doing dropped kerbs.....and that one would go straight to planning for review due to the red route and its proximity to the Traffic lights (iirc)

Just curious as I am a Highways Tech in Bexley and part of my job is doing dropped kerbs.....and that one would go straight to planning for review due to the red route and its proximity to the Traffic lights (iirc) I'm a planning officer, but I do it for TfL Streets so I sort of end up being halfway between highways and planning, someone has passed it to me because its on the red route - surprisingly enough we're not that keen on people reversing out onto the South Circular in the middle of a gyratory, so we might have something to say over this one...
