Without going to look at the Chrysler and Dodge I have no idea what they are I should think someone will know. Andy. Dodge Charger and Chrysler Laser (AKA Plymouth Laser) K platform derived FWD with a 2.2 4 cyl lump as used in the Minivan/Caravan/Voyager with or (more usually) without a turbo. There is a Shelby version which is worth having which features some turbo tuning and revised suspension and a suitable sticker package. These are actually jam packed with potential if anybody cared enough to work them right. One of histories unloved cars. Shame as they can be quite nicely sorted. But as they aren't RWD drift yo nor V8 powered neither of the usual camps will be interested in them. The "novelty value" of an Omni GLH or Turbo Minivan doesn't span with these despite sharing the same mechanical bits to a larger or lesser degree. So they get to be engine donors for turbo minivan projects and throw the body away. Although I have seen at least one converted to RWD and done as a full on prostreet car, many, many years ago

I used to know a guy who had a Shelby Charger. Cheapest genuine Shelby car out there! He loved it and extoled its virtues at every oportunity, he struggled to sell it for £500 IIRC though, which is sad.

I would have bought it but I was holding out for a RWD/V8 at the time. And I saw how much bother he was havign trying to sell it. That put me off. Always buy cars you are happy you can shift on easily later.

If I were having a FWD Charger it would not be a "keeper", it would be a "Mmm, I'd like to try that just to have the experiance" so resale would matter.
