I thought it was a Ford Ranchero but with a different bed. Phantoms 2019 6 by Dave Campbell, on Flickr But the body shape behind the door is different and the door looks shorter. Dave It's definitely the same nose as the Ranchero, but I've been looking at a couple of Rancheros for sale this last two weeks and it definitely isnt based on a Ranchero judging by doors and what remains of the side panel shapes. It must have been a four door Torino or similar, and for whatever reason the back end got cut off. I have to say it was very professionally done and clearly done with love and dedication, even if the end result is error... well... not what you'd call a crowd pleaser. I was wondering... if the clip on wheel arches were removed and done properly, the welded chain and roll hoop were removed, it was lowered on some serious wheels and the front panelwork angles were used and taken back with metal cladding panels down each side of the rear, you could almost end up with a unique Ranchero. I had to text the number just out curiosity. The owner just called me back. It's a Ford Torino estate car front, with a Toyota Hilux back... so he said... with a Chevy engine/running gear, on a Dodge chassis. So it's a Torluxodgevrolet then. He said it's advertised at £7990. He also said "You don't want it to be perfectly honest" and he was right... I absolutely don't. Nice of him to save me from having to say it though.

Last week on the way to work, a nice PA. I "think" there was a Vauxhall rally/meeting/drive out around North Yorkshire all last week. A day or so latter spotted a LHD gold PC on foreign plates, sadly no picture.

I drove down to Kent a few weeks ago to collect my new daily (Seat Leon FR TDI 170) and this was parked across the road. This is the only pic I got as I was already running late!

Okay so WHAT THE HELL IS FOOTGOLF? I went to view a Ford Galaxie in the week. The owner runs a 'footgolf' centre. I thought it was just loony thing he'd created but in Baader Meinhoff complex fashion I've since seen it mentioned about three times. Then I come to the Spotted thread and THERE! LOOK! JUST ABOVE! FOOTGOLF AGAIN! WHAT IS FOOTGOLF?

Lol, it’s “soccer” played on a golf course with large holes. Mental.

Been on holiday in Cornwall, I'll add some spots later, and there's footgolf just outside Tintagel. We never played.

So somebody took the two most stupid things ever invented solely to stop men fighting, and combined them into the single most stupid thing in this entire unchartered galaxy of ours.

Me and a mate occasionally play golf for a laugh, more of a "let's see how hard we can hit it" affair, that course also has foot golf holes in the greens, we use them as an advantage
