Well, It had to end some time. I took my brother to Heathrow on Friday afternoon at 3pm..... yep it takes time to get there. Anyway, he was on lens duty as I expected to see a few cars, and was not disappointed, however, his trigger finger and spotting eye leaves much to be desired compared to us old spotters here. Saw a few then, here they are.... followed by a 1950 De Soto that Ms Grizz spotted a while back, but never got to show me, so out on the bike yesterday, she took me there and also took the pics. Whitstable spots .....last weekend. NICE WHEELS.... ;D Poetry in motion, even standing still.

Spotted this in Wandsworth on Saturday: Also saw that V8 Nova kit car in the Gulf livery yet again (the petrol station across the street from me is evidently his local so I see him three or four times a week, but never have a camera to hand!)

Some great spots, but I wouldn't call a '68 Mini 'very early'... they'd been building 'em for 9 years then!
|
|
... the only injury I sustained was a bumped head when I let the seatbelt of without realizing the car was upside down and that's not really the car's fault.

At first glance I thought this was an XR2 but my mate who was with me its a 1.3 Sport, as he happened to own one as his first car! A bit of a sheep in wolf's clothing but a bit of a rare survivor now. [ Supersport? Supposedly quit fun cars, and rarer than an XR2
