Terrible photo. Apologies. Attempted to take a 'Spotted' action shot and failed. Anyway, in the spirit of contributing.... Just went for a Sunday afternoon hoon and followed this. If it's not apparent from the pic it's a Saab 900 Turbo and it looked from the rear to possibly be a Carlsson or something of that ilk maybe. I'm not very knowledgeable about the things but it did seem to have a decent body kit and nice deep alloys. It was great to see it on the road. It made me realise how few of these I see around any more. So big and strangely weighted visually (but nicely so). Low floor line, massive bulk of body, tall glassy upper. Very odd looking by today's standards. A bit like a naval stealth greenhouse. I was really hoping we got some clear road and that the Saab would give it some welly so I could give chase. We did both manage to overtake a Nissan Figaro that had been holding us back, but not until we were almost upon a village and a 30mph limit. So no fun was had.

Also saw today... on my way to RHS Wisley near Woking, Surrey... a really lovely slammed 70's Audi saloon on white wall tyres. It looked mint. MUST be somebody on here... MUST be. I only shot past it waiting to pull out onto the A3/Portsmouth Rd south and didn't have time to attempt a snap. Really want to see it again though. Can anyone here claim it and point me to some pics? Possibly one of these...

Ehhhh, I don't really know El Woody. I'm not very knowledgeable about early Audi (or Saab, or... or... etc etc). It only pulled up to the junction as I swept past at decent speed so I literally only saw it for a split second. From the side I was convinced it was going to be a Merc W115. I only realised it was an Audi in fact when I saw the front lights and grill and the ringed badge on the front. I think it was a four door. It was very low on white ring/band tyres rather than full on whitewalls, and it was dressed up in the manner I would associate with the Stance scene.
That's all I've got.
I want to see it again. It was gorgeous.

now that you added more info, this is the only pic on whitewalls of this particular audi I don't *think* that was it. If I had to guess I'd say it was a fourdoor, and that it had more chrome on the front and round headlights... but I could be wrong. Also have the idea that it might have been in deep reds and some lilac. Edit: Hmmmm, it could have been this, after a respray and a change of wheels...

No, definitely white walls/bands. But thanks for posting these pics anyway... these are all great to see.

Had to take the OH for an appointment in (well near) the city today. Saw this on the way. Also saw two old Rovers, but they are in the abandoned thread.

January 2018A tank seen at the Imperial War Museum. A Beetle, which is rather less ordinary than I first assumed, at least for the UK. February 2018Nissan Primera Si. It's been a long time since I've seen any variety of Primera and they used to be everywhere. Toyota Camry Sport. A factory version, I'm told. even though I thought it was one someone had modified a little when I saw it.
