Say Hello to Burt! Relaxing at Boscombe Beach yesterday morning in the sun and parked near this: The text says: I'm Burt
Recently arrived from the States
1929 Model A Ford Rat Rod
New MOT, Very Loud, Very Fast, Very Good Fun
Make my owner an offer over £30k and you can keep meAwesome piece of kit There was also a larger, minty red rod going round but I didn't manage to get a pic, but it sounded great. And then on the way home , right by my house, an absolutely mint Mk 3 Cortina GXL, in pale blue with a cream vinyl roof pulled up next to me at the lights - looked absolutely superb. Great day, apart from the sunburn :-)

Lovin' that Datsun BIG TIME. Never knew they did a 4x4 version though. Matt, that "Ventora" is a FE Victor. The 70s style 100E is ACE IN THE PLACE. The truck is a Karier Bantam. Go back and check it out, many of these came factory fitted with a Wade RO34 supercharger which is a nice bit of kit.... The Austin looks way bigger than a 10. Possibly a 16-Six? Here's some of my spots from the last couple of weeks. Useful looking pickup. Original owner look Was going to be my obligatory old Landy shot, but more are coming, sorry Pre-68 must be coming? Daisy Duke # VERY tidy Mk3, has recently acquired the Mondeo (?) front wheels. Not sure whats going on. Something cool? Will keep an eye on it. Splitty and a bay 'arder looking Landy Lancia WTF Morris Traveller with interior upgrade. Makin' friends with the Caddy Drop top Goof Toyota Hiace - the new Type 2? Type 2 in traffic Clean stock Mini Z cars Clever Trevor Seem to be almost common in these parts Another Veedubbya Bandit. Was pictured in these here spot pages a while ago with the cover on. Been off the road for years. Me think a door-knock may be in order some time.... Earlier VW COOL AS COOLNESS CF1 camper "Adventura" I love when dyslexics used to name stuff. Even earlier camper.... One horse power. Clean Saab. Well, I liekd it and I missed a really nice mildly modded 900 Turbo so you got this instead. T25 camper CF2 Camper Mk2 Transit camper Happy camper GMC not a camper shock horror! Vitesse A7 sports parked in a hedge, oddly enough Cobra clone and an Armstrong Siddely. Cobra was on its way so no better shot of that. But the A-S Whitley didn't move so I got this. Stunning old car. Much love. COTW MR2 Mk1.

You're probably right with the Austin it was huge. The Bandit car made me laugh, when we were on the bike ride we saw an Escort Cossie with a fire chicken on the bonnet.

Spotted this week around the back of a local sales/workshop garage. They often bang the classics up on the bay so it might not be the last time this gets seen here. Overall not bad but guessing it'll need welding aplenty as the other side shows a bit of plop and the boot lid is quite crispy!!

Those Sunbeams are delightful looking cars. Rumour has it the factory planned a V8 powered one to replace the Tiger, but decided to import the Baracuda instead.
The Manta follows the typical German scheme of naming model variations with letters rather than numbers so the Manta "Mk1" is actually a Manta A to give it the proper name

Dunno if I put this one up here before - this legend has a number of legendary moshines: Plus a saab 900 and another crazy old fibreglass bodied saab with a v4 engine (cant remember what he told me it was) Then I found these two plus another VW Camper in a field beside them but I was pretty far into private land on a farm at this stage and felt I was risking a shot or two being around the sheds!!! Sorry I was lost - honestly!!! Excuse the horrendous quality but a combination of summer weather and camera phone resulted in what I like to call Dream style:
