Saw this in the local market: While out on the DH bike in Morzine I saw this parked up: Last week I was on the south coast near Palavas les Flots, saw another Transit.

The Renault is a Fourgonnette hearse, that style of window dropping below the sill seems common on the Spanish market where vans seem to be used as much as coachbuilt cars. I expect it'll have a watercooled engine and share a good amount of Renault 4 running gear underneath the body which will likely be fairly lightweight for a van of its size. This is assumption based on the tiny bit of knowledge I've got of French vehicles of the period, I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than I can fill you in better. It's a great spot for being in brown too, I'm used to seeing these types of hearse in black, silver or very dark blue.

Another one, missed this off last time as I needed to phootshop the road name & plates out. Update on this, they are both catering Van's - the grey one is fully restored & is a mobile kitchen, they do very nice Mexican food from it. The yellow one is a bar, but has no engine. They use them for catering at wedding's/events

hello all, been some time since i posted anything on here. i saw these old girls still being used over the last week or so. does anyone have any info on the renault van (rough year engine size etc) Renault Estafette. According to Wikipedia, the pressed front grill makes it a later model, so 1108 or 1289cc of pure pulling power... Some more spots from France. None of which are French... Well cared-for Porsche 944. Fairly awful zoomed-in picture of a Corvette and a black... American thing. There was some sort of transport show on and a convoy of American cars and airbrushed American trucks went past in convoy with much hooting of horns. This was all I managed to catch. Here it is again. Some sort of Cadillac maybe? (Plus bonus Citroen ZX action ) Porsche 914 looked lovely in that colour. This brings the number of Porsches I want in this post to two. Morgan. I don't really know what else to say about Morgans, very nice and that but they do basically all look like that. 2/3rds of a Calibra. Digging the wheels. But the most unexpected spot of all must be: A mostly complete Rover SD1. I don't know how it's fared having been parked in the long grass for who knows how long and it missed a bit of interior trim, but looked pretty good. 2600cc straight six. I was very surprised to see an SD1 abandoned next to a French garage. As far as I know the 2600s were seen as less desirable than the V8 so are somewhat rare now? I could be mistaken though.

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

Clearing some space on my phone and found these from my travels around Bristol. was in regular use until recently, paints a little faded and signs of rust but looks good. Parked on the same street as the next 2 Mazda's still a regular family runabout I think Don't know how many Maestro vans are still around, this one actually used as a work van still, it's got a pressed metal front plate on it too Old and new, from this angle not too much of a size difference Love this Rolled into the tesco petrol station as I was filling up Polo's are small cars, but just not next to actual Mini's This Nova saloon is a daily Another supermarket spot I hope this Rallye got taxed in the end, photo'd a few months ago.
