Inability to grab cameraphone in time meant that last night while I was walking home from work, I managed to miss snapping a Lynx Eventer on the West Cromwell Road and a DB6 Shooting Break on the King's Road.
This is a rubbish story without photos, sorry. But I got a bit over-excited. Two ultra-rare sporting estates in one day? What are the odds...?

If the silver one Dad had was anything to go by, those old Peugeot 305s are indestructible.

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

Spotted all these beauties yesterday Lovely 130. I know it's a 92, but its a retro shape anyway I love these old Jaguar XJ40s, they are such an underrated car and deserve far greater recognition. I consider it "Retro" (whatever that is!!) as it was launched in the mid 'Eighties, but the design is much earlier because of chronic under investment and chaos at BL.

^^^^^ If tax and fuel werent such an issue over here i'd love one, as insurance for me on the smaller engined ones is the same as a E36 320I/ E34 525i/ Granada/scorpio V6, but right now it'd have to be a daily and i couldnt justify the horrendous mpg. sometime though
