Heres tha dash on my 69 Scimitar: Heres a dash being designed for the Reliant SE82 prototype from 1982: Sadly after Reliant spent over £100,000 on the V8 prototype styled by Bertone the project was scrapped Scimmie ;D

my other car- the dash aint special, but the 8300rpm redline really is. Just like mine but with more gas in the tank.... A KP61 dash. Reaaaally uninspiring. And this is an upspec model.

I have a picture in my mind of the coolest dash ever but can't remember what it was in. Its a kinda art deco style hemispherical item probably from one of the US manufacturers that were defunct by the sixties. I remember a custom featured in R&C probably 10 years ago that had one. I know that's not much to go on but anyone got an idea?

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

I really like digital dashes! Heres some I made for my Escort: It was supposed to look like the origional clocks but without numbers and needles when off..... ....And then when the ignition is on the Astra GTE clocks shine through. It looks okay (never sorted them out so that you coudn't see the square clock so clearly) but i'm changing it when I re-do the interior anyway, I have new clocks that will show the revs for the rear engine and also the water temp/oil pressure for the rear engine aswell as the front. Haven't finished making them yet but when i'm done i'll post 'em up

That's awesome! Love the idea - so will the new one be digital as well, or back to analogue spinny sticks?

Hello, Loving the technological tat age, that was the 1980's, I therefore love the electro luminiscent dash from my XJ40, excuse the very 80's TWR Jaguarsport steering wheel, it was a 'Must have it' purchase!! And one taken before I changed the Steering wheel, this old wheel was an adapted Alfa GTV affair, which had a Jaguar boss welded into the centre. And finally, my fave of all time, bar none. The 1979 to 84 Aston Martin Lagonda dash, where digital lunacy started!!
