Hi everyone, a Newbie here.
I've got a Series 4 1990 Alfa Spider & an Alfa 75 TS
Are these considered retro ?

Here you go;  shortly after I bought it 1 year ago. .jpg)  Just after I put on a set of late GTV 16" alloys (prefer the factory'ish look) - thats the only mod to the 75 at the moment (apart from the ICE).   The Spiders lightly modded, with a set of BBS wheels, Full Stainless, Green filter & some light porting to the head - got a spare 75TS engine for the spider if & when it blows up.  with the hardtop on. |

Welcome!  Definately Retro. I think the 75 is proper cool! Not sure on the Spider - I find it to be a bit of a "marmite" car. I find the styling a bit odd. The sixties "graduate" ones were proper gorgeous, but I don't think the later sort have stood the test of time.  <Nick cowers under desk preparing to be flamed for last opinion> Bet the later ones drive nice though. Like poo off a greased spade, yes?? ;D |

Get out from under the desk nick.....you coward. I prefer the look of the early Duetto (boat tail) too, but when I bought the Spider it was my only car & subsiquently was going to have to do 50 miles a day, so I needed something reliable & rot free. hence the later S4 - has more creature comforts, & you can fit more than a packet of crisps in the boot.
Although I think the S4 looks way better than the S3 with all it orrible Plastic rubber.
Ultimatly I'd chop both of them in for a really nice TS powered step front bertie.............but I need to raid the post office again to be able to do that.

Hi there! I used to have a silver cloverleaf sprint years ago but as normal it rusted into thin air ;D my mates boss at the time had a red boat tail spider that he'd restored, I seem to remember it took him ages to have a new boot lid made from scratch as he couldn't find a decent one anywhere. I'm likeing the wheel choice on your 75 as well |

Hello and welcome!
A mate of mine had a circuit-race prepped 75 in his garage a couple of years ago. V6, I had a sit in it and revved it a few times with a childish grin on my face ;D Very nice!
