Junkyard Digs is a favourite of mine - I think Kevin and Angus (plus Mook and Tom) are probably as close as you can get to the Roadkill ethos. The most recent was a knackered Combine Harvester - I didn't think I'd enjoy a farm vehicle episode but it was strangely enjoyable! The one issue I have with Derek from Vice Grip is that his episodes are getting to be very long - his recent CRX one was 3 hours! I know I can watch a bit at a time, but it does kind of put me off when I see how long they are. That said, I love how he refers to oil containing vitamins and dinosaurs!

The newest Finnegan has a movie quality video of the first two days of drag week and is very well put together. One interesting thing I got from that is that they were not allowed to be on each others personal channels but now they are. Hoping we see some roadkill crossovers.

I was an avid watcher in the earlier days when the vids were 40-50 min long, with the occasional 90min revive and drive home, but the 2 hour+ episodes are just far too long to fit into a working persons schedule and as you say that CRX episode just cemented that right home. Restored, a channel Derek has collaborated with a few times, is another one I like the content of but just don't have enough time in the day to sit down and watch. As much as these Youtubers are the remedy to (and reason for, to a degree) the failing traditional entertainment, I personally think they need to create something a little bit more bitesize and digestable and not try to compete for watchtime with feature length productions.
