Did some test fitting to try and get an oil return sorted. The turbo had barbed return and block fittings, but there was no way you were going to get a hose and jubilee clip up there. So we cut the barb section off both the turbo return and the block return and welded on an10 bosses so I can use an fittings instead. I mocked it up with a 45° I had lying around, and it should work. Just about haha. It’s very close but does clear. I’ve ordered some black AN fittings cause I’m a tart and want it all to match. The blue and red fittings would look so out of place, I’ve had to clock the centre of the turbo slightly, but looking at the Holset manual as long as it’s not more than 30° past the vertical line it will be okay. Once I’ve got that line made and fitted I can start it on the floor 😬

Turbo oil return all made up. It’s a snug fit, but it fits. It looks like it’s touching on the pictures but there is a small gap. It’s finally ready to start up. Can’t wait to start the swap now. 😬

How much power is your target with that turbo? I’m not sure yet, the pump only has 6mm elements in. It should do 250hp. Which is what I’m looking for ideally. It has a small exhaust housing that will help with spool up, but may restrict it at the top slightly. to be fair though I’m not majorly fussed about max power figures, along as it makes decent power, drives nice in normal driving and doesn’t smoke to bad I’ll be happy. anything will be better than the 88hp it has now haha.
