Reluctant sale due to house move and loss of storage.
4 litre petrol 6-cyl, 4 speed auto.
It has been in a farmers barn for 6 months, I have just put a fresh MOT on it valid until July 2025.
92k miles, some history.
LOTS of new and used parts included.
Paintwork shocking (less shiny less stress), interior good (headlining aside), chrome good. Mechanically its good, and rust-wise the hard work is done, floorpans good.
I do have the door trims and boot carpets.
Usual Sovereign refinements including CD player, electric seats and windows, trip computer and cruise control. It all works apart from one of the rear windows, but I will try and sort this prior to sale.
Recent work includes Extensive welding repairs to front end, all cavity waxed and lanogaurded. New rear shocks, New Tyres x4, lots of new front bushes/links, New Radiator/condenser carrier, New Front Discs and Pads, Steering rack spacer modification installed plus new rack gaiters. Lots of Pictures of this work including the welding and fabrication available on request, I'll put them in my build thread.
Bad bits: Rear arches/sills are a bit tatty as pictured but nothing awful (they passed an MOT like it, and a pattern sill is supplied). Central locking can be intermittent but its never really bothered me. Slight Rumble from N/S on hard cornering. Possibly a bush, possibly just the exhaust.
Still, its definitely a truly lovely old thing, its like driving a big fast national trust pile. I have daily'd it on and off for around 18 months, but frankly sustaining my own appetite for the drink is expensive enough, and I am doing up a crusty old house now so have to be realistic about projects.
Scruffy, yes. Too good for the Oval, Also yes. Find another non-flintstones, MOT'd 4.0 for the money though.
I'm after £950. located in south oxfordshire, UK.
V5 present, no P/x.
No warranty or garuntee is given or implied.
Best to phone if youre interested: 07526173761. Any questions please feel free to ask. More pictures available on request.
Many thanks, David.
