They're £15,000+ these days.
This isn't that.
What it is, is a used W124 with wear & tear commensurate with being 34 years old.
Some of the electrical bits need tlc (but all the important stuff works)
Bodywork is fairly straight, just some minor parking scuffs and dings
Not much rust on it (front wings are quite good for one of these)
Paintwork would benefit from a machine polish, I have given it a once-over with some Poorboys but there's still stains and flat spots that won't come out by hand
Interior... I have cleaned as much as I can, but there is a hole worn in the driver's bolster.
Not much in the way of service history :-(
Relatively low mileage for the age at 165k.
[Note there is a mileage discrepancy between 2 tests, this looks very much like incorrect input by a fat-fingered MoT tester rather than anything sinister]
Runs and drives very much as an old Mercedes should... wafts along effortlessly, cruising on a wave of torque.
Looks nice from 10 yards!
Great potential for further improvement, or just a relatively affordable old luxobarge to waft about in without being too precious about it.
