Wow I wonder how that ended up in Germany being RHD. Very nice example! Could be something to do with military personnel importing/exporting vehicles to where they are posted. When I was a kid a guy from the village was posted in germany for a while and took home a very nice Renault 19 he bought from another soldier that took it over with him. Also that’s how a lot of old jdm cars got passed the 25 year rule into America, soldiers take them home as their possessions |

I love these now , when I was 18 about 1987 I worked for a big local car dealer
We had one of these in the main showroom for a very long time
In the metallic bronze colour , it was at the time low mileage and obviously nearly new
But it just didn’t sell , the performance fords flew out
Tbh these cars were far Better built but just hadn’t won over the masses

Saw that one the other day when this idea popped into my head. Looks pretty rough haha. I wonder if wing panels are hard to find for it. I guess it is cheap in comparison though. Seems like mint ones are about £10k on auctions I’ve seen. There was a nice red one floating around but not sure what it sold for. £400 for a pair of fibreglass wings!! |

It's a car I wish I still owned today but Capris always won out. Had a black 1.8 Turbo back in the mid 90s as my daily driver, which I sold around 2000. It's long scrapped now. Just a pity there's so few left as I'd love to have another some day.

They are ones of those cars that is overshadowed by later cars in the same product line. The S14 in particular. It is odd that they are basically Nissan's equivalent of the AE86, but nowhere near as expensive now. Need that cult following.
