For sale is my Peugeot 605 SRdt, 2.1 TD. Bosch Diesel Pump Variant.
I bought this car to be my replacement daily driver as I fancied getting into something retro again. The car had been parked up since 2017, 2 owner car Husband and Wife. V5 present with all previous MOT certificates, work receipts new and old and original hand book.
I have slowly started to refresh the car ready for a MOT, works in the past month include.
- Full Timing Belt and Water Pump
- Aux Belts - Heater Plugs
- Leak Off Pipe
- Air Filter
- Brakes serviced and freed off
Comes with new oil, oil filter, fuel filter, windscreen wipers and a few other bits to finish off the service items. Slight changes of plans with my current fleet of cars, so have to let this one go.
Car runs and drives just needs a few further items to get it ready for a MOT. What I can see it needs a slight patch welding on the inner front wheel arch, steering gator boots (included) and the remaining service items doing.
Car is what you expect from sitting up a few years, runs fine but has a noisy starter and chugs like a old diesel.
Sometime takes a few cranks to start the car but it does start and run fine without cutting out.
The car also has a dealer fitted alarm, seems to not cause any issue with running, but alarm goes off if the battery gets low, good battery and not sat in the workshop should sort that.
Car just needs finishing off and running, it’s clearly been a reliable old bus getting to the mileage it’s at. Engine will be barely run in especially with the key timing belt having been done. Needs a OS front side light, but should pass MOT as there is a side light in the main headlight too. Also needs a blower fan resistor as they always blowing and knob doesn't do anything.
Collection Leeds LS14, needs to be trailered away of course. Any questions just ask, make me a offer
