So it is with a heavy heart I come to sell my CROWN Vic. After 2 years of ownership it's time to move her on to someone who will use her more...and I may already have a replacement lined up.

MOT'd until 17th September 2023 (2 advisories - 1 for minor oil leak as it needs 2 new sump plugs really, and 1 for a deformed steering arm which has already been replaced)
THE GOOD:
Rust free - came from Texas in 2019
5.0 302 Windsor small block purrs like a kitten and burbles along like a sewing machine in overdrive at 65mph - will cruise all day there
Returned a rather respectable 23mpg Summer 2021 on the 400-odd mile round trip to the Gathering (where it took part in the Hill Climb )
In my time it's had
THE NOT SO GOOD:
I'll let the pictures do the talking - plenty more available on request:
Front seats are electric, central locking all round (1 door isn't working on it tho), electric windows all round (backs aren't working right but I don't sit in the back so it's never bothered me), electric boot release in the glovebox, it even has auto headlamps that sense the dark and stay on for a variable duration after you lock up. A feature I never saw until my wife got a K12 Micra!
I've got a bunch of spares to go along with it - the original plates, a tune up kit (plugs and leads), the remaining good headlamps, Haynes manual (!) and a bunch of other stuff that I'll dig out. 3 spare sets of keys I think too!
She's a handsome old barge which I'd gladly jump in and take anywhere, I just have other projects to think about and need the money & space.
Looking for OIRO £5k

In my time it's had
- new headlamps all round as the old ones had gone a bit green
- new front tyres, new front idler arm
- new battery
- new EGR valve
- new MAP sensor
- new starter motor and wiring
- new voltage regulator
- new idle control valve
- I've fitted a bluetooth stereo in the boot connected to a small amplifier and new speakers all round whilst keeping a more OEM tape deck in the gap in the front.
THE NOT SO GOOD:
- Bodywork is rust free but she's a big boat...there's a ding in the front bumper and some areas where the lacquer has gone quite flat. All adds to the patina if you ask me
- Aircon needs regassed - I took it to ATS and they just laughed at me as it 'wasn't in the computer'. But not before taking my money up front...long story.
- Cruise control status is MIA as it has an aftermarket steering wheel - the OEM is long gone. It may well work but I've no way of telling
