	Well it's been a while, but not a huge amount to report if I'm honest. Neither time, money or mojo are things that are particularly forthcoming at the moment - I'm hoping that now ~~spring~~ summer is starting to spring (?) it'll help things along I'll pick up where we left off, and then see what memories are jogged by the camera roll A huge massive thank you to raumer &co for getting me out of a hole, or two to be more precise! These ones... The car would 100% still be there if it weren't for Ed and his generosity. It was quality watching the heap just get unceremoniously slung from its shallow grave - but even better to meet some new friendly faces What next? Ah yes... Rodents (squirrels most likely) - the joy. For the good lady's bday I promised the projector would be up in our bedroom, and for once met expectation Fresh off the back of that success, I wanted to get the corresponding loft boarded and start filling it with all our excess toot Alas, I suspect that wouldn't be a good idea if I ever want to retrieve it in tact in future... This has all been chewed through, and every day I hear the damned thing rooting around. I don't really do animals, much less understand them, so got some pest control quotes. This in turn led to "I'll happily do it, but they'll keep getting back in - you need a roofer to get the bottom rows of tiles properly bedded down to prevent access", which in turn led to "sucks teeth I know you don't want to hear it, but needs a new roof. Can do it various ways to keep it cheap as possible, but needs full job doing". Same verdict from at least three quotes, something I sort of knew needed doing but hoped we could avoid for a good while yet. Since I've not started on any of the key jobs, yet the bill is still going up, I've been focusing on what's largely free - gardening. We'll be throwing a birthday part soon (,time flies...) so that helps with motivation What's got me to get my act together and "finish" this post (I've been starting drafts since March!) is that over the course of several lunch breaks and a couple of evenings I've now cleared this... Random junk = 8 bags + trailer Weeds = 3 large bags Soil = 8 bags Hardcore = 10+ barrow loads Scrap wood = plenty for the bonfire I almost forget, we found this beauty too. Not a cesspit - fortunately, just a surface water drainage pit which looks to have been built at the same time as the property. No longer functional it seems, so might see if I can do something cool with this. Any ideas? Apologies for the dreadful update / write-up, hopefully some more interesting stuff to come up soon. Golf MOT expires this weekend, and it's currently filled with water Reason for clearing that outbuilding is to hopefully relocate some of the stuff out the garage and make space for the Golf to reside.. 	No problem for helping yank. Hazel enjoyed taking her Landrover out for a play. Would have got some action photos but it was out before I thought about it! You had done a good job of digging holes! And good to meet you as well, always good to put a face to a username. You've got a lot done since we were there. It is looking a lot tidier and you have our sympathies for moving bags of curse word to the tip. We did twelve dustbins full of broken glass! We don't have squirrels but we do have evil rabbits. They have eaten freshly planted vegetable plants - inside the 'rabbit proof' enclosure! It has now been upgraded so fingers crossed. The job lists are always never ending and sometimes it's good to take a step back and look at what you started with. We had visitors today and they were pointing out all the things we had done since they last visited. Was quite a confidence boost.

	Thanks Ed, and yes if we had a photo there would actually be some retro car content in this thread for once! But as you say, over in flash - I have a video from the doorbell but it's just of Vera pulling away as if leaving some traffic lights! That's a fair amount of glass, from anything in particular or just scattered general waste? Rabbits we haven't ever seen here that I recall, but we do have 4+ local rabbits that like to visit. They're not ours but perhaps your neighbours have some you can borrow too! Thank you for reminding me of the work we've done - you're absolutely right about stepping back and looking back. I've already cut the grass three times this year, that's over half the total number from 2023 in total! I think it's looking better for it, along with plenty of chopping back. The rest of it has been sprayed a week or so back with industrial grade chemicals... I didn't want to, but you can see from the first photo how much has already grown back since I first dug out that bank. In a couple of weeks, I hope it'll all be a very dead brown Shed and trailer will probably move in near future, and that crack stitching still needs covering up! Remainder of bushes in front of porch to be replaced by driveway one day... These grow rapidly, but I'm keeping this one for now since it hides all the mess behind from the road! Only the neighbours who overlook truly know how bad it is Some of the goodies recovered from the outbuilding and elsewhere, wondering if those pieces at the front have anything to do with the cooking stove in the garage This all needs to die soon, it's pretty much just nettles and creeping thistle Think we've lost about a meter of grass to the weeds since we moved in This will burn very nicely very soon Amazing how much difference freshly cut grass makes! Looking forward to these A route to the back of the property which nice view of weed-less fields. We could get there a month ago after heavy clearance, less so again now Progress. More progress. 	This was the best photo I got, it does show the Landrover at least but it is post recovery. The glass was from an old greenhouse - a very large one! Most of the glass had to be sifted out of the soil. If you fancy any strawberry plants we have plenty spare. Fruit trees and bushes are nice as they require minimal looking after. Veg is a bit harder as the birds, rabbits, etc.... like to eat the plants and the produce! Greenery has gone wild this year, to the point I'm debating getting something to mow sections of the garden. Yours does look good where it has been mown.
