Hi and welcome to my listing for my 1992 Jaguar Sovereign.
Finished in metallic burgundy with cream leather interior.
Top spec sovereign, well equipped with air con, six speaker sound system, electric seats, heated rear screen, and onboard trip computer.
Only covered 96k miles and has been well maintained over the years, comes with a good history file.
Benefits from LPG conversion so should prove cheaper to run than on petrol but still retains the choice to run on either.
Recent works undertaken include a rebuilt steering rack + hydro-elastic bushes, new battery (Oct '22), new fuel pump (May '22), LPG conversion fitted (July 2021 at a cost of £2118).
Runs and drives superbly, engine is smooth and has plenty of power, gearbox works as it should including kickdown. Ride is comfortable and there are no unwanted noises.
Bodywork/paint is not perfect in areas with evidence of previous repairs to the sills and paint repairs that could be tidied up further.
Interior is in good condition overall however it has suffered from the common headlining sag in the past so this has been stapled up.
MOT'd until Oct 2023.
Comes with book pack, 2 keys and service history containing 13 stamps.
Overall an affordable and useable example of the XJ40 with lots of money spent already. Reluctantly for sale due to purchase of another XJ Jaguar!
Any questions, feel free to ask.
Thanks for looking.
