What cars do You remember the main characters drove?
I leave british tv series like the Professionals with their collection of Fords up to You, I've seen them as a child, but I don't know that many british tv series - or I can't remember.
What I do remember, are american series like Friends, that featured an MG B roadster once driven by Ross, the Checker cab owned by Phoebe or even Joeys sleeping Porsche (probably a box'ster).
A MG B roadster was also King Douglas of Queens car, when he met his later wife Carrie (her golf vert in the background):
And a classic mini appeared there too:
Volvos of the boxy kind can always be seen in the background of every single series or movie. Their shape makes them so unmissable like beetles in the 60s street scenes.
One volvo even made it to the main characters choice of transport since Dr.Leonard Hofstatter from the Big Bang Theory drives one at the beginning (recognizable even without the characteristic volvo head rests, later he drives a more modern Saab)...
... while his later wife Penny drives her Golf convertible with the engine control light on.
Then suddenly no more!
Another car made an appearance in the BTT once, but that would be a signature car of another tv series and that's not what I am asking for.
