If I wanted Van tyres...not a problem, but, trying to find a good quality tyre in this size seems nearly impossible! As this was a standard fitment on XJ Jaaaaaaagggssssss - Pirelli P4000, is there a source for a replacement size out there? My GoogleFu is obviously weak as not found any as yet, if you can point me in the right direction would appreciate it. P.

Thanks Adam but at that price I could buy a set of 17" wheels and tyres! Good find on the Cooper Cobras as I have this on the rear. P.

Anyone bringing something in from the USA soonish, that could add a pair if tyres to the spec you want, in the trunk or cab ?

Old size tyres are disappearing. 185/55/13 used to be my choice on my 105E. I think they were originally on some obscure hot hatch back in the day but you can't get them any more.

Old size tyres are disappearing. 185/55/13 used to be my choice on my 105E. I think they were originally on some obscure hot hatch back in the day but you can't get them any more. Lack of demand doesn't help. Less volume generally means a pricier tyre, especially if the tool is new. Tooling costs are scary (probably £50k+ at a minumum) and can take a few passes to get right. If you make 50 a year off the tool, you won't make your money back. Several thousands, you have a chance. For anything UK produced, it got a whole load harder. A freind of mine is paying 10 x the amount for electric, and no one else is cheaper to provide for it. At one point, no one would even take on new customers! I do feel for business when the business price cap is removed, especially those, in these niches. That, and space now costing a premium, as well as things taking longer to get into and out of the UK in general.
