	I think the time has come for me to brush off the tools and build my last ever project.. minis (classic mini) are my bag. Over the years we (myself and better half) have bought, built and restored some off the oddest creations we could imagine (non of the cars shown in this thread), and although I’m not a big fan of the mini scene anymore I still like the car scene in general. We could build from scratch but we’ve been there and done that and to be fair the IVA can suck the life and soul out of a build. So in this instance I’d like to find an old show banger from the hey days (built prior to 1998). This can be an absolute wreck and not really worth saving etc.. probably the rustier the better as there’s more a sense of achievement in saving something from the scrapper. Hopefully something like the vehicles shown below? We are happy to provide a finders fee etc Please do not reply to this thread directly with something for sale but instead if you have or know of something for sale can you please pm me directly to discuss. any sale adverts posted on this thread won’t get a reply. can you help? 	Whereabouts in the world are you ? I know of a classic mini,that I think was a 90’s build that is parked stood in a garden where it has been for years. It has smooth,wide flared arches front and rear,with a small spoiler under rear lip of roof,and a front lower air dam / spoiler. Wide revolution 4 spokes and a rear roll cage. Painted in a typical 90’s colour… BUT. It’s not advertised as for sale,though I’ve seen nothing (visibly) change or happen to it since it appeared there….

	I definitly have a bit of a love for wild late 80s/early 90s customs like those shown, probably due to reading years old custom car and street machines as a schoolkid and seeing them in show reports, and the classifieds. Sure some were decidedly dodgy stylewise.. and often as it turns out very poorly built under the shiny paint, but they were definitely creative, think i miss the wild paint schemes the most of all though. Hope you can turn up something suitibly cool, and look forward to seeign a threead on one when you do

	The quality can always be improved but the dodgy styling is a blast from the past that I have fond memories of.. Yes I can even remember fitting cosworth illusion bodykits to escorts with household screws and grp paste lol The rose tinted glasses will need some polishing but I think it could be something that many would actually enjoy seeing? Doesn’t matter if you like the styling or not or if it really isn’t your thing.. nostalgia is food for the soul. Some good giggles to be had
