Does it have an EGR cooler and is it leaking internally (as they seem to do quite often)?

Does it have an EGR cooler and is it leaking internally (as they seem to do quite often)? I tried and tested really everything on this - the EGR cooler was the first thing, I can't tell if it was leaking or not.
I bought -another- new engine last week and fitted it this weekend and it is actually driving agan.
