So anyone intrested in this little gem at 2 k she is not being used and need to go to a new home. Telling well and has a mot. Done less that 50 miles since. Come and grab a bargain. Hi all.
So here goes. I am offering up my Nissan 13N 1.6 SGX Auto.
She is a 1987 D plate 5?door hatch.
What I can tell you about her.
Well she was pretty much a one owner car all its life until last year when she was found in a garage in Cornwall after the original owner passed away. She was tucked up under a blanket amongst other things for around 12/13 years. I bought her from a friend of Big Mike from this very forum. Perhaps Mike can shed some more light on this find.
So let’s move on. She was advertised on here last year and I went over to bude and bought her and Mike trailered her home:
The car was bought for my son to learn to drive in and to gain some focus away from his gaming pc and get some skills and drive.
So I did the cambelt and tensioner and got her running.
We tinkered and cleaned her lots lol. Then took her for a mot. The first in some 12/13 years. Well she passed with a few advisory items.
1 tyres were legal but slightly perished
2 Brake Discs were rusty.
That was it.
So all 4 tyres were replaced with brand new Dunlops I think.
And new front Discs were fitted.
During this time the boy lost intrested and it has done around 80 miles in his stewardship. With no interest left from him.
I did think about buying it from him to keep myself.
But have too many toys I just don’t have time for:
A ford cortina
4 motorbikes
A vw transporter.
So the decision is to sell her on to someone that will love her.
So what do we have. She is totally original in all aspects. She has a minty mint interior and has electric everything.
Electric windows
Electric Sunroof
Power steering
Central locking and she has never seen a welding tour h.
She starts and drives and sounds strong and healthy
We replaced the following.
Cambelt
Tensioner
Brake discs
Plugs
Leads
Coil
Air filter
Now as with all old cars she has a few things that need doing. She is 35 after all.
As said she starts and runs and drives as she should. The central locking does not lock all the doors from the drivers side but will open them all:
And lastly the drivers window does sometimes not go down on the button but does click to say she’s working.
Body work wise she is a good solid car with no plod anywhere and the only bit needing any work is on the leading edge of the bonnet . See pics.
So to sum up.
A solid original Nissan Sunny.
23k no history I am afraid. But Big Mike can confirm how she was found.
Runs drives stopes.
In great condition.
What do we want for I hear you ask.
Well I was thinking £3000.
Try and find another: I doubt you will.
I live in Mid Devon. Although she is taxed Motes and insured I think a traitor would be best.
