my 1.1 rover 100 bangs when i pull away and when i change gear, i think its the bottom engine steady bar under the gearbox that is at fault. Ive tried to find the rubbers but no one does them. Now, teh mgf is the same subframe but in the rear of the mgf? Can i fit mgf ones as also an upgrade? I think the mgf had a different gearbox?
thanks

In that case, buy some mouldable polyurethane, knock up a couple of simple fixtures(plywood, thick plastic sheet, whatever) and make your own custom ones out of the existing metal parts. This is an Omega diff mount, but should give an idea:

i had thought of that, but i don't know enough about it to actually do it. I don't know anyone that has done it either. That could be a very good solution.
