Well for every i haven't had a vice bolted down as i always seem to need to move it about. Well i have now started to make a dedicated vice stand.
Take some round pipe, some 5mm steel plate, a Record No 23 vice and a lorry brake drum.
Bit of cutting, bit or sanding, bit of welding and this is what i have ended up with so far.
Need some new nuts and bolts. Need to clean and rebuild the vice. Then maybe give it a bit of paint.
